The Hub has been named as the fit-out contractor for the upcoming Voyagers: Britons and the Sea exhibition at The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. The Museum is currently in the middle of a £35m Capital project known as the 'Sammy Ofer Wing'. This will create a new main entrance on the South side of the museum, a new library and archive, a permanent exhibition and an 800m temporary exhibition space. The SOW project will re-orientate visitors and create a new experience as they first enter the museum. Within the new wing is a gallery which will form one of the first experiences for visitors on entering the Museum – it is this space, Voyagers, that the exhibition will be displayed. The exhibition is due to open in February 2011. |
