| Abstract - A four month exhibition held across three galleries. An innovative exhibition about Surrealism, examining its influence on all areas of the Arts, including theatre, film, fashion, architecture, interior design and even advertising. Three hundred remarkable objects were displayed, and the fit out of the galleries represented the unusual and theatrical nature of the exhibition’s subject matter. The hub’s duties as principal fit out contractor included design development, in particular the creation of a large scale curved plywood structure to represent a fabric wave, which was pre-formed in our workshop. The project also included joinery, scenic painting, decoration, graphics, lighting, flooring, audio visual displays and showcases. |
