Abstract - A four month exhibition across two galleries. This glamorous exhibition, designed by Land Design and developed and built by the hub opened to the public on 22nd September, following a high profile Gala Opening during London Fashion Week. The exhibition included 107 one-off creations, by designers such as Dior, Balanciaga and Givenchy. Many of these garments are celebrated historical designs, thus The Golden Age of Couture required a dramatic and extravagant setting to suit its theme, including the Ballroom showcase and the Legacy plinth. This prestigious project involved joinery, alongside decoration, graphics, lighting and flooring.
