Abstract - A new museum about Woking’s history; part of the purpose-built Lightbox building. Designed by Marks Barfield Architects, creators of the London Eye, this £7million project was originally conceived by Woking residents over ten years ago. The hub were the principal contractor for the fit out of the museum, which tells ‘Woking’s Story’, through its collection of historical archive material. The project involved numerous interactive displays, joinery, audio-visual installations, flooring, lighting and decoration.
